What's this page about?
This is where it all happens! Here you'll find a collection of articles sorted by categories and subjects. You don't have to read them all, especially if you're familiar with certain topics. That said, as I've promised before, I'm not here to waste your time. This means that all the articles are here for a certain reason. Some facts to kick off...
There are many debates and studies regarding the role of genetics, the mechanics of foods, and the relations between them in weight loss. Two things, however, are certain:- The basic rule of weight loss is: To lose weight, expend more calories than you take in.
- This can be done in two ways: Consume less calories, or burn more calories.
Keep in mind...
That this page constantly being written, updated, and changed. It's not the final version. Might be, someday.First things first - let's make it practical.
Reading stuff is nice. It really is. Understanding things and getting excited about weight loss and healthy living is even better. But, unfortunately, they don't cause change in and of themselves. You have to take what you've learned and implement it.That's what the "Healthy Living Log & Diary" is for. It's not really a "Dear diary" type of diary, but one in which you write down whatever you want to remember and implmenent. It's also the place to write down how you plan to implement these insights in your daily life. Remember - you need to actually do what you say you will. Remember the contract? Yep. You promised.
Here are the articles:

We are, literally, what we eat. The food we eat turns into the very cells that make our bodies. Exercise & Activity
Hearing the word "Exercise" is enough to make some of us cringe. Some days you feel like you would rather get a root canal than work out. And sometimes, 30 other urgent things you just have to take care of right now pop up in your head just as you are about to head for the gym.Why is exercise so imporant? And maybe it doesn't have to be that hard at all... This (and more!) in the following tips:

- Getting yourself to work out on a regular basis.
- Who said exercise has to be tedious?
Mental
Healty Living isn't just about eating right and moving around. As I've written in the introduction, if we're struggling with our weight and can't keep it down permanently, there is likely a mental pattern that is stopping us from succeeding, even unconsious.I can't say that this is unequivocally true for every single person. It is based on my experience and that of many others. However, keep in mind that if you find yourself resisting this section, you might need to read it more than you think.
- Guilt - What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.
- Rationalizing and make excuses.
- Love yourself a little.
- What to do if you slip up.
